CeramTec, a leading international supplier of premium ceramic products, has appointed Dominique Janbon (47) as Group CFO effective 1 October 2014. Mr. Janbon joins from medical technology company Gambro AB, where he was CFO and Senior Vice President since 2012. During his time at Gambro he was part of the senior management team which implemented a new growth strategy for the company. In his role, he contributed significantly to the successful transformation of the company and later to the US$ 4bn sale of the company to Baxter. Dominique Janbon previously held senior positions in finance and commercial development at global pharmaceutical companies Amgen International and Sanofi S.A.

Dominique Janbon holds a Master of Sciences in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and a Master degree in Economics, Management and Finance from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He is a French national. Dominique Janbon succeeds Rolf-Michael Müller who has resigned to pursue other interests.
