Visma acquires Trimma and strengthens its portfolio within business intelligence and enterprise resource management solutions

Visma acquires Trimma AB, a company that develops and provides tools and services within business intelligence, analysis and budgeting. The acquisition strengthens Visma's portfolio within business intelligence to middle sized companies and public sector.

- We have for some time been looking for the right supplier in this area. With Trimma and their product INSIKT we get a complete solution for performance management and business intelligence. We are very pleased to have managed to acquire a fast growing company with one of the most successful products on the market, says Carola Lissel, CEO of Visma Software.

Several opportunities
Visma's portfolio consists of several ERP systems, payroll systems and other business solutions. The acquisition of Trimma and their product INSIKT provides a strong complement to existing products. Initially, INSIKT will be offered together with the financial systems Visma Control and Visma PX, but also to customers using Visma Business.

- Together with Visma, we now have a great opportunity to deliver our solutions to more customers and industries. Visma will add knowledge and resources that contribute to our ability to deliver even better solutions for our customers, says Andreas Forsberg, CEO of Trimma AB.

A natural part of ERP solutions
A robust and flexible business intelligence solution creates great potential for Nordic enterprises, and is high up on companies' list of IT investments.

- The demand from existing and potential customers is high. The future looks very exciting within this area, especially with influences from big data, says Carola Lissel.

Visma already offers a variety of solutions within business intelligence. The acquisition of Trimma completes Visma's portfolio very well. Trimma's employees will also bring important knowledge in the continuing development.
