Visma strengthens its focus within school administration software by the acquisition of StarSoft Oy and expands its business in the Finnish market.

- Becoming a part of Visma will give our software portfolio new opportunities and strengthen our position within the school administration sector. Visma will contribute with capital and competence, and we are convinced that this will enhance our ability to deliver even better solutions for new and existing customers and employees, says Jarto Tarpio, Chief Technology Officer at StarSoft Oy.

- Finland is an important area for Visma, and the acquisition of StarSoft strengthens Visma's position in the Finnish market. Usability and mobility are two key elements in our cloud strategy, and this is strongly supported by the StarSoft portfolio. We are impressed by the organisation and are eager to grow the business even further, says Øystein Moan, CEO Visma.

- We are proud to announce that teachers, students, parents and school administrations all over Finland from now on will communicate through a Visma school administration service. The school sector is a key area for Visma, and we will continue to develop self-service solutions that contribute to increase the efficiency and automation both in the Finnish society and internationally, Øystein Moan continues.
