European private equity firm, Cinven, today announces two senior appointments in its Investor Relations team, as well as two promotions to Principal and the appointment of four new Associates in the Investment Team. There has also been an appointment of a new Executive to the Portfolio team.

Jonas Nilsson, Partner, Investor Relations
Jonas becomes a Partner in the Investor Relations team. Jonas joined Cinven in 2011 as a Principal in the Investor Relations team. He was formerly a Partner at Triton where he was responsible for business services investments in the Nordics.

Yalin Karadogan, Managing Director
Yalin joins the Investor Relations team as a Managing Director. Yalin joined Cinven in 2006 and has latterly been a Principal in the Business Services team. He remains Head of Emerging Europe at Cinven where he will continue to originate transactions in the region and remains a Board Director of portfolio company Pronet, the Turkish electronic security systems company.

Alexandra Hess, Partner, who joined Cinven in 2004, continues to lead the Investor Relations team and will work closely with Jonas and Yalin.

The following individuals have been promoted to Principal in the Investment Team.

Anthony Cardona, Principal
Anthony joined Cinven in 2010 and is a member of the TMT team. He has been involved in a number of investments including Ziggo and CPA Global. Prior to Cinven, Anthony worked as a strategy consultant for L.E.K. in London where he worked for corporate and private equity clients in the financial services, industrials and TMT sectors.

Matthew Norton, Principal
Matthew joined Cinven in 2010 and is a member of the Healthcare sector team. He has been involved in a number of investments including Sebia and Pronet. He previously worked in the Investment Banking Division at Citigroup, advising on M&A and restructuring deals across a range of sectors including consumer, real estate, TMT and healthcare.

In addition, Cinven has made the following four new Associate appointments in the Investment Team. These individuals will work across Cinven’s six core sectors and will initially be based in the London office.

Adam Prindis, Associate
Adam previously worked at Perella Weinberg Partners in the Technology team advising on M&A, restructuring and private capital transactions. Adam has a BSc in Business Administration from Bath University.

Chris Robinson, Associate
Chris joined Cinven from Perella Weinberg Partners in London, where he had advised on M&A transactions across a range of sectors including consumer, aerospace, TMT and healthcare. He has a BA in Economics from Cambridge University.

Daniel Tanase, Associate
Daniel was formerly an Associate at First Reserve. Prior to that, he worked in the Global Natural Resources Group at Morgan Stanley. He has a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialisation in Banking and Finance from University College Dublin.

Johan Petterson, Associate
Johan joined Cinven from J.P. Morgan where he was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division. He has advised on M&A transactions across a range of sectors including healthcare, media, consumer, industrials and natural resources. He has an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Lund Institute of Technology.

There has also been a new appointment to the Portfolio team.

Tony Ling, Executive – Operations
Tony has joined as a member of the Portfolio team, based in Cinven’s Hong Kong office. Prior to this, he had internships at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, Bain & Company, as well as Cinven. He has a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong and also studied at the University of California, San Diego.
