European private equity firm, Cinven, today announces the promotion of two new partners in its London office. The appointments are effective from 1st July 2011.

Supraj Rajagopalan, Partner
Supraj joined Cinven in 2004 and has worked on a number of transactions including Sebia, Spire Healthcare, Ahlsell, Partnerships in Care and Phadia. He is a member of the Healthcare and Industrials sector teams. Previously he was at The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on projects in the financial service and healthcare sectors. Prior to this, he was a doctor in the UK National Health Service. Supraj graduated from Cambridge University with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Medical Sciences. 

Soren Christensen, Partner
Soren joined Cinven in 2006, where he focuses on debt financing and Nordic origination. Since joining he has been involved in a number of transactions including SLV, Spice plc, JOST, Coor, Spire Healthcare, Gondola and Phadia. Prior to this, Soren worked at Citigroup within the Leveraged Acquisition Finance Group, where he was involved in the financial structuring and syndication of several major European LBO transactions. A Danish national, Soren has a BSc in Economics & Mathematics and an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School
