Adam Prindis
Adam is a member of the TMT sector team and the regional team for Emerging Europe. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Allegro, Jaggaer, Northgate Public Services, RTB House, think-cell, Ufinet and Visma.
Prior to Cinven, Adam worked at Perella Weinberg Partners in their Technology team, advising on M&A, restructuring and private capital transactions.
Adam has a BSc in Business Administration from Bath University.

Aeman Zehra
Aeman is part of Cinven’s Corporate Finance team, focusing on Payroll and Benefits.
Prior to joining Cinven, Aeman worked at Afiniti, an American multinational AI and data company, where she held roles in the Data Analytics team and as a Senior Global Payroll Analyst in Finance & Accounting.
Earlier in her career, she was a Civil Engineer at Paragon Constructions. Aeman has an MSc in Data Science from the University of Essex, an MBA in Finance & Risk Management, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.
She joined Cinven in 2022.
Alessandro Brutto
Alessandro is a member of the investment team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Alessandro was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs, focusing on Industrials and Business Services across M&A and IPO transactions. Previously he worked at J.P. Morgan in the Technology Media & Telecommunications team.
Alessandro has a MSc in International Management and a BSc in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University.

Alessandro Liori
Alessandro is a member of Regional team for Italy.
Prior to joining Cinven, Alessandro worked in the FIG Investment Banking Group at Citi in Milan. Previously he interned at Boston Consulting Group.

Alex Leslie
Alex is Cinven’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for operational aspects of the business including business development and strategy.
Previously, Alex was Head of Cinven North America between 2016 and 2022 and a member of the Healthcare Sector team.
He has been involved in a number of transactions, including BioAgilytix, Clario (formerly Bioclinica), Jaggaer, LGC, Medpace, National Seating & Mobility, Synlab and Taxwell (formerly Drake Software).
Prior to this, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in London.
Alex has an MA in History from Edinburgh University.

Alex Lizcano
Alex is a member of the Portfolio team. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including think-cell.
Prior to Cinven, Alex worked at Partners Group, where since 2017 he led value creation in TMT assets with functional expertise in sales excellence. Alex had been a Senior Vice President in the Industry Value Creation division responsible for working alongside investment teams to source, lead value creation and successfully exit private equity investments. Prior to joining Partners Group, Alex worked at McKinsey & Company, Telefonica, Avaya and Eli Lilly.
Alex has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Tuck School of business at Dartmouth, as well as a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
He joined Cinven in 2021.
Alexander O’Brien
Alexander works in Cinven’s UK Transaction Services team, providing company secretarial support to UK tax resident holding companies of non-UK investments.
Prior to joining Cinven, Alexander gained experience in roles at Santander UK, Trinity Mirror, and UBM.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland and holds both an LLM in Corporate Governance & Law from the University of Portsmouth and an LLB in Law from the University of Nottingham.
He joined Cinven in May 2020.
Alexandra Hess
Alexandra leads the Investor Relations and Fundraising team.
Alexandra co-founded Level 20, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving gender diversity in the European private equity industry, and established the mentoring programme with two fellow co-founders.
She previously worked at Oak Hill Capital Management, where she had investing and latterly investor relations responsibilities.
Alexandra holds an AB in Art History from Princeton University, an MA in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania and an MPP from Harvard University.
She joined Cinven in 2004.
Alice Bellingham
Alice is an HR Associate.
Alice has a BA in Psychology from the University of Portsmouth and her Level 5 CIPD Associate Diploma in People Management.

Alison Raymond
Alison is Cinven’s Chief Communications Officer and has overall responsibility for the firm’s corporate communications and marketing activities. Alison is a member of the firm’s Operating Committee, the ESG steering group, and a Trustee of the Cinven Foundation.
Prior to joining Cinven, Alison was Director of Communications for UK, Ireland and Israel at McKinsey & Company, responsible for managing the communications strategy, including media relations, reputation risk management, social and digital media, leadership communications, brand identity and internal communications.
Previously Alison worked in the communications teams of London Business School, City & County of Swansea and Penguin UK.
Alison has a BA Hons in English Literature from the University of Cambridge.
She joined Cinven in 2023.
Allegra Day
Allegra is a member of the Portfolio team.
Allegra was previously a Manager in the Climate Change team at CDC Group where she led ESG value creation projects with portfolio companies and implemented the firm’s climate change strategy with a focus on the just transition to a net zero economy. Prior to CDC, Allegra advised businesses and investors on their sustainability strategies at Social Ventures Australia and was a commercial lawyer with Herbert Smith Freehills and Norton Rose in Sydney, Australia.
Allegra has an MBA from University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney.

Alvise Gonzato
Alvise is a member of the Healthcare sector team and the regional team for Italy.

Amanda Sahranavard
Amanda is a Personal Assistant supporting the Business Services Team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Amanda spent 11 years at KPMG where she worked as an Assistant in the Audit and Indirect Tax departments, and a Project Administrator for the International Executive Services group in London.

Anastasya Molodykh-McFarlane
Anastasya is a member of the Healthcare sector team. She has been involved in a number of transactions, including LGC, Medpace and Synlab.
Previously, Anastasya was an Investment Banking Associate in the UK coverage team at Deutsche Bank, working across a range of sectors.
Anastasya has a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.

Andrea Lobato
Andrea is Cinven’s Marketing and Content Lead, overseeing the firm’s marketing activities and content development.
Prior to joining Cinven, Andrea worked in the marketing and communications teams of global consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, as well as tech giants like Google and Pinterest.

Angela Carstairs
Angela is a Personal Assistant to the TMT team. Prior to joining Cinven she held roles within brokerage firms and investment banking. She joined Cinven in January 2018.

Angela is the Receptionist for Cinven’s New York office.
Prior to joining Cinven, Angela worked in staffing recruitment with a focus on the administrative support space.

Angelica De Filippi
Angelica is a member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team.
Prior to Cinven, Angelica worked at Bank of America as a Private Capital Markets Analyst. Previously, she interned at Morgan Stanley as a Debt Capital Markets Analyst, focusing on Real Estate companies.
Angelica has a MSc in International Finance from HEC Paris and a BSc in Economics and Management for Arts, Culture, and Communication from Bocconi University.

Anna Pearce
Anna is Cinven’s IT Helpdesk Team Leader and is responsible for managing Cinven’s new IT technicians, in addition to IT purchasing, software packaging and mobile account management. She also responds to advanced IT requests to the Helpdesk.

Anniek Joosten
Anniek is a member of the TMT sector team and the Benelux regional team. She has been involved in a number of investments, including Barentz, Jaggaer, MasOrange (formerly MasMovil), Netceed (formerly ETC Group), One.com and RTB House.
Prior to joining Cinven, Anniek worked at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer Retail and Healthcare group.
Anniek has an MSc in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science and a BSc in Econometrics and Operations Research both from Tilburg University.

Anthony Cardona
Anthony is a member of Cinven’s TMT sector team, and he is focused on technology and tech-enabled services businesses.
He has been involved in a number of investments, including CPA Global, Visma, Ziggo, Master Builders Solutions, Chryso, Arxada, and Envu (previously Bayer Environmental Science Professional).
Prior to this, Anthony worked as a strategy consultant for L.E.K. in London, where he advised corporate and private equity clients across various sectors.
Anthony has an MA in History from Oxford University.

Arnaud Barosi
Arnaud is a Conducting Officer in Cinven’s Luxembourg office.
He is responsible for all regulatory and compliance matters, including AML/CTF. Arnaud previously served as a Partner at Forvis Mazars, leading the regulatory advisory practice. Prior to that he spent 14 years at Deloitte Luxembourg in the risk advisory division.
Before Deloitte, he worked at Clearstream Banking in custody operations in Luxembourg and Germany. Arnaud is a member of the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
He joined Cinven in March 2024.
Aswin Lizen
Aswin is a member of the Investment team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Aswin was an Investment Banking Associate at Harris Williams in London focused on M&A and LBO transactions. Previously he was an Investment Banking Associate at Fidus Partners in New York.
Aswin has a BSc in Commerce with a Concentration in Finance from the University of Virginia.

Babett Carrier
Babett is Cinven’s General Counsel and has overall responsibility for all legal, regulatory and compliance matters. She is a member of the BVCA’s Legal and Accounting Committee and Invest Europe’s Legal and Regulatory Committee.
Previously, Babett was the General Counsel of Arma Partners LLP, responsible for all legal and regulatory matters for the FCA-regulated entity and its affiliated U.S. broker-dealer. Prior to this, she spent 16 years at Shearman and Sterling LLP in their Capital Markets and M&A groups in New York and London, with a focus on cross-border M&A transactions. Babett trained with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Frankfurt.
Babett holds a Master of Laws from Columbia University School of Law, New York and a law degree and Ph.D. from Cologne University, Germany. She is qualified to practice law in England, Wales, New York and Germany.
She joined Cinven in 2015.
Balazs Lam
Balazs is a member of Cinven’s Strategic Financials Fund team and Financial Services. He has been involved in a number of transactions including IFGL.
Prior to joining Cinven, Balazs worked at CVC Capital Partners where he was a member of their Financial Services team. Prior to CVC, Balazs was an Investment Banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in their Financial Institutions Group.
Balazs holds an MSc degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford, an LLM and LLB in Law and a BSc in Economics and Business from the University of Amsterdam.

Begona Araujo Perez
Begona is a member of the Investment team. She has been involved in a number of investments, including Allegro, group.one and MasOrange.
Prior to joining Cinven, Begona was an Associate at A.T.Kearney, where she focused on Consumer Goods, PE and M&A practices.
Begona has an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in International Business from the Universidad Pontificia De Comillas.

Ben Bibby-Brown
Ben is a member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team in London.
Prior to Cinven, Ben worked at KPMG in the Asset Management audit division.
Ben has a BSc in Economics from the University of East Anglia and is a Chartered Accountant.

Ben leads the Benelux Regional team and is a member of the Business Services Sector team.

Bethan Newland-Smith
Bethan works in the UK Transactions Team and looks after the financial reporting, tax and compliance for the UK holding companies.
Prior to joining Cinven, Bethan worked predominantly in Financial Control as an Associate at Charles Stanley & Co. and Finance Analyst at Tapestry.
Bethan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a degree in Accounting and Management from the University of Kent.

Bruno Schick
Bruno chairs the Portfolio Review Committee, has oversight of portfolio, value creation and exit activities, and leads the regional teams for DACH and Emerging Europe.
He has been involved in numerous investments, including Arcaplanet, Arxada (formerly Lonza Specialty Ingredients), CBR, CeramTec, Envu (previously Bayer Environmental Science Professional), group.one, JOST, Maxeda, Master Builders Solutions, SLV, STADA, think-cell, TK Elevator and Viridium.
Prior to this, he was CEO of Surplex AG, an innovative provider of asset recovery solutions based in Germany, which he co-founded in 1999. Previously, Bruno worked at Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt.
Bruno has an MA in Management from ESCP-EAP European School of Management.

Carlotta is a member of the Healthcare sector team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Carlotta was an Associate at KKR in the EMEA Private Credit and Strategic Investments team, where she worked on a range of transactions across sectors and asset classes. Previously, she worked at Goldman Sachs as an Associate within the Investment Banking Division.

Prior to joining Cinven, Carol worked at Next Capital in Australia, focusing on mid-market private equity across multiple sectors. She previously worked at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications group.

Caroline Osborne
Caroline is a Personal Assistant and supports Cinven’s UK Co-Managing Partner and Chairman.
Prior to Cinven, Caroline worked for the CEO of Vocalink (now a Mastercard company) in the Payments space and previously was an EA at State Street Global Advisors in London.
She joined Cinven in 2017.
Caroline Rawes
Caroline is Cinven’s Chief Human Resources Officer and has overall responsibility for the firm’s talent strategy and human resources team.
Previously, Caroline was the Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Committee at Ashurst, with shared responsibility for the development and delivery of the firm’s strategy as well as managing the HR, Learning & Organisation Development, Business Change and Internal Communications functions. Prior to this, Caroline was the HR Director at Taylor Wessing, where she was also a member of the UK Executive Board. She has held previous senior HR positions at Linklaters, Accenture and KPMG.
Caroline graduated from Manchester University with a BA in Geography and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

Cecilia Colistra
Cecilia is a member of the Consumer sector team and the regional team for Italy. She has been involved in a number of transactions, including Partner in Pet Food.
Prior to joining Cinven, Cecilia worked at Deutsche Bank as an Analyst in the TMT Corporate Finance team, focusing on M&A and IPO transactions.

Chloe is a member of the North America regional team.

Christopher Anderson

Claire Molloy
Claire is a Senior Corporate Administrator at Cinven, responsible for managing KYC and AML requests from banks, service providers, and counterparties, specifically related to the Guernsey funds.
She is also responsible for Guernsey office management and the Guernsey Quarterly Board Meetings. She joined Cinven in 2017.
Clare Bradshaw
Clare is Cinven’s Communications and Media Lead, responsible for handling Cinven’s external communications, transactional engagements and media activities on behalf of Cinven and its portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Cinven, Clare worked at Buchanan Communications, where she advised on transactions including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and corporate situations for both publicly listed and private clients.
Clare has an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh.
She joined Cinven in 2014.
Clarissa Barnicot
Clarissa is Cinven’s Transaction Services Manager and oversees financial reporting, tax, compliance, and operations for Cinven’s UK resident holding structures. She also provides treasury and operational support to deal teams for deal closing and exit.
Prior to joining Cinven, Clarissa was a Senior Investment Accountant at Blue Coast Capital.
She holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge, is a Chartered Certified Accountant, and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program.
She joined Cinven in 2021.
Claudia Coleman
Claudia is a Paralegal in the Legal & Compliance team, advising on fundraising and co-investments, transactions, and firm matters.
Prior to joining Cinven, Claudia was in the Legal team at Mondrian Investment Partners and before this, in the Commercial Contracts Legal team at Google (via Lawyers on Demand).
Claudia has a BA in History from the University of Exeter and completed her Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) at the University of Law.

Claudia Riddington
Claudia is a Paralegal, advising on various antitrust, transaction, fund and firm related matters.

Claudine is responsible for all co-investment portfolio administration and reporting.

Courtney Basanovic
Courtney is a member of the Healthcare sector team and the North America regional team. She has been involved in a number of investments, including BioAgilytix, Jaggaer, LGC and Visma.
Prior to joining Cinven, Courtney was a Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, and previously worked at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Cristina Tuckley
Cristina is a member of the Digital and Portfolio teams.
Cristina was previously Head of Marketing for Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) in Europe where she was responsible for driving brand awareness and customer growth across Amazon’s middle-mile transportation programmes. Prior to that, Cristina worked at Expedia Group in both product and strategy roles. She was also a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group.
Cristina holds an MEng in Civil, Structural & Environmental Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Daniel Garin
Daniel is a member of the TMT sector team and the North America regional team.
He has been involved in a number of transactions including Archer, Jaggaer, Nitel and Taxwell (formerly Drake Software).
Prior to joining Cinven, Daniel worked at Advent International, identifying and evaluating investment opportunities in the Consumer sector. Before joining Advent, Daniel was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group where he worked across a number of sectors.

David is a member of the TMT sector team and the regional team for France. He has been involved in a number of transactions including MasMovil, Netceed (formerly ETC Group), NewDay, Tractel, Viridium and Visma.
Prior to Cinven, David worked in the Investment Banking Division of HSBC in Paris, advising on M&A transactions across a range of sectors including industrials, aerospace and consumer.

Divya is a Fund Accountant at Cinven. Prior to joining Cinven, Divya worked as an Auditor at EY LLP, focusing on auditing private equity firms, wealth and asset managers and hedge funds.

Dominic Robinson
Dominic is a member of the Healthcare sector team. He has been involved in a number of investments, including BioAgilytix & Partner in Pet Food.
Prior to joining Cinven, Dominic was a Consultant at OC&C Strategy Consultants where he worked across a range of sectors including Retail, FMCG, Media, Leisure and B2B. Dominic has a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham.

Dorin Dontu
Dorin is a KYC/AML Associate in Cinven’s Legal and Compliance Department. He is responsible for managing and responding to incoming KYC and AML requests, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining efficient processes and procedures.
Prior to joining Cinven, Dorin worked as a Risk, Regulation, and Compliance Consultant at FDM Group, gaining onsite experience as a KYC Quality Control Analyst at Lloyds Banking Group and the Bank of Nova Scotia. He holds a BA in History and an MA in Transnational Studies from UCL.

Ed Nevens
Ed is Cinven’s Head of Tax.
Prior to joining Cinven, Ed was a Tax Partner at BDO focussed on the taxation of private equity firms and their investors. Before this Ed was an Associate Partner at EY and he previously worked in-house at Apax Partners and Bridgepoint Capital.

Eleanor is a member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team.
Eleanor is the current Chair of the mentoring programme for Level 20, a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving gender diversity in European private equity. The programme promotes the retention and progression of women within private equity, by enabling mentees to benefit from the experience and insights of more senior professionals.
Previously, Eleanor was a Partner and Head of Investor Relations at CBPE Capital where she led two successful fundraises. Prior to joining CBPE, Eleanor was an LP at Adams Street Partners and Horsley Bridge Partners, where she focused on making and monitoring primary commitments to European private equity managers. She started her career as a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting.

Frédéric is a Conducting Officer at Cinven Fund Management and has responsibility for risk management and valuation functions.
He has over 20 years of experience in financial services in Luxembourg and abroad, holding senior positions in leading international firms.

Gautier Laurent
Gautier is a Managing Director and Head of the Luxembourg office, responsible for the execution of Cinven Luxembourg investments together with regulatory and tax compliance of Cinven activity in Luxembourg.
Prior to joining Cinven, Gautier was an M&A Advisor at NPG Wealth Management where he was responsible for the origination, negotiation and implementation of cross border mergers, acquisitions and sales of companies in life insurance sector. Previously he worked at Deloitte Luxembourg as a M&A Tax Advisor.
Gautier has a Postgraduate diploma in European taxation from IC HEC Brussels and an MA in Tax Law from the University of Burgundy, France.

Guy Kewish
Guy is a Director in Cinven’s UK Transaction Services team. He is responsible for providing support to deals that are structured outside of Luxembourg.
Prior to joining Cinven, Guy was the Financial Controller at an infrastructure fund, where he managed accounting, tax and compliance functions. He has also held roles in financial modeling and FP&A, starting his career at KPMG in infrastructure.
He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW and holds both an MA and BA in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Hema is Cinven’s Senior Tax Manager, leading Cinven’s European tax compliance workstreams and supporting the firm on wider tax matters.

Lubomir is a member of the North America regional team. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Archer.

Previously he was an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS Group.

Luigi Sbrozzi
Luigi is a Partner in Cinven’s Financial Services team and Head of Cinven Strategic Financial Funds.

Prior to joining Cinven, Luigi was a Managing Director at Centerbridge Partners, where he was responsible for investing in European financial institutions. Prior to this he worked at CVC Capital Partners as a Director in the European Financial Institution group. Luigi has an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University, Milan.

Marco Strizzi
Marco is a member of the Industrials sector team and the regional team for Italy. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Arxada (formerly LSI) and Envu (previously Bayer Environmental Science Professional).
Prior to joining Cinven, Marco worked at PSP Investments as a Director in the European Direct Private Equity team in London. Previously he was an Associate at BC Partners. He started his career at J.P. Morgan in their Consumer and Retail team.

Margaret Gutierrez
Margaret is a Personal Assistant to the Healthcare team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Margaret served as a temporary PA for the Strategic Opportunities team at CVC. Before that, she was a Project Management Office Associate at British International Investment (BII), a Development Finance Institution for the UK government. Margaret’s earlier roles at BII include Project Coordinator and Personal Assistant within the Funds department.

Prior to joining Cinven, Marie worked at CDPQ in the private debt team, where she was involved in the origination and execution of pan-European investment opportunities across various debt products. Previously Marie worked in the Leveraged Finance teams of Morgan Stanley and Nomura in London with a focus on European loan and high yield transactions.

Matteo Carinelli
Matteo is a member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team in London.
Previously, Matteo worked at Eurazeo where he was a manager in the Investor Relations team. Before joining Eurazeo he worked at AnaCap Financial Partners, Intermediate Capital Group and Goldman Sachs.
Matteo has an MSc. in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology and a BSc. in Economics and Management, both from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi.

Matteo leads the Regional team for Italy and is a member of the Consumer Sector team.
He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Arcaplanet, Partner in Pet Food and RB Iberia.
Prior to joining Cinven, Matteo worked for over nine years at Lion Capital, a specialised Consumer and Retail private equity investor. Prior to this Matteo was an Analyst in the Consumer and Retail Group at Morgan Stanley (London) and he also spent a year as a Business Analyst within the Financial Services Industry Group at Accenture in Milan.
Matteo has an MSc in Management, Production and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Matthew Sabben-Clare
Matthew is a Senior Advisor to Cinven.
He was Cinven’s Chief Administrative Officer from 2017-2023 and Head of its Capital Markets team from 2005-2017.
Before that, Matthew worked at Merrill Lynch in Leveraged Finance, and in the Financing & Structured Products Division at J. Henry Schroder & Co.
He graduated from Cambridge University and is AMCT-qualified.

Previously, Matthew worked as a Manager in the Private Equity Transaction Services group at KPMG providing due diligence and transaction advice to private equity companies. Matthew began his career working at EY in the Transaction Services group.

Naomi heads up our Guernsey office.
Prior to joining Cinven, Naomi was a Client Relationship Manager of Aztec Financial Services (Guernsey) Limited, responsible for the provision of a full suite of company secretarial services for Private Equity clients, including incorporation and liquidation of companies, registration and dissolution of partnerships, statutory and regulatory filings and advising on company and partnership law.
Previously, Naomi worked at Intertrust Fund Services Limited as an Assistant Company Secretary and prior to that spent several years at Ogier LLP as a Legal Assistant, focusing on investment funds, private equity, restructuring, and private wealth matters.
Naomi has a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors and a Diploma in Fund Administration from Manchester Business School.

Prior to this, he trained and worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, in London and New York, with a focus on cross-border M&A transactions.

Paul is a member of the Portfolio team, based in the London office.

Paul joined Cinven from Amcor in Zurich, where he built and led Amcor’s Healthcare business as part of the EMEA executive team. He also served as Vice President of Innovation and as Head of Group Strategy. Prior to this, Paul was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Co. in Frankfurt, New York and South East Asia where he led the Innovation and Strategy Practice.
Paul attended the University of St. Gallen, INSEAD, and the London School of Economics, completing his studies to PhD/DBA level.

Raj Rupani
Raj is the Head of US Tax and is responsible for managing all tax matters, including transactions, house and fund level matters.
He has been involved in a number of transactions, including TKE, Envu and Taxwell. Prior to joining Cinven, Raj was a International Tax Senior Manager at Deloitte where he provided expert tax advisory and compliance services on US inbound and outbound tax issues for private capital funds and their founders.
Raj has an Masters in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors in Accountancy and a Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance and Business Honors from California State University, Northridge. He joined Cinven in 2019.

Rikesh is the Head of Fund Accounts & Administration at Cinven, responsible for accounting and reporting to Cinven’s investors. He is also a member of the BVCA’s Accounting, Reporting & Governance Committee.
Prior to joining Cinven, Rikesh worked in the Finance function at Quadriga Capital. He began his career at Doughty Hanson, working in the Finance & Fund Reporting group.

Robert Perry
Robert is a member of Cinven’s Strategic Financials Fund team and the Financial Services team. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Compre, IFGL and Policy Expert.
Prior to joining Cinven, Robert worked for over a decade in investment banking, at Citigroup and Evercore Partners, advising clients in the European financial services sector on M&A transactions and capital raisings. Following his career in banking, Robert co-founded and co-managed a life reinsurance business.

Prior to joining Cinven, Samy worked at Credit Suisse where he was involved in M&A and leveraged buyouts advisory. Previously, he served in the French Finance Ministry (Corps des Mines).
Samy is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique (MSc in Mathematics) and holds a Master in Finance from Princeton University.

Sarah Amponsah
Sarah is an Associate in the Compliance Department.
Prior to joining Cinven, Sarah worked in the Core Compliance team at Blackstone, and previously worked at Schroders.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Laws with Business degree from the University of Sussex and a Master of Laws and Legal Practice Course from BPP University.

Sarah Barnes
Sarah is Cinven’s Global Payroll & Benefits Manager.
Prior to joining Cinven, Sarah was an HR Operations Specialist at Merian Global Investors, where she managed payroll, employee benefits, and HR systems and processes. Before that, she held various HR roles in the legal sector.
Sarah holds a degree in American Studies from the University of Nottingham and is CIPD qualified.
She joined Cinven in 2020.
Sarah Verity-Thomas
Sarah is a member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team, is Head of Cinven’s Client Services function and is a member of Cinven’s ESG Steering Committee.
Previously, Sarah worked as a Manager in the Private Equity Transaction Services group at KPMG, advising private equity clients on M&A and restructuring deals across a range of sectors. Prior to this, Sarah spent four years with Arthur Andersen, where she worked in the Private Equity group and gained her Chartered Accountancy qualification.
Sarah holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University.
She joined Cinven in 2005.
Sebastian Jaeger
Sebastian is a member of the Portfolio team. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Envu, Master Builder Solutions, group.one and Netceed (formerly ETC Group).
Prior to Cinven, Sebastian worked at Kloeckner Pentaplast, where he was Chief Transformation Officer, responsible for Business Transformation, Corporate Strategy & Development, Corporate M&A, Group Sustainability and Group Communications. Previously Sebastian worked 7 years for AlixPartners leading large-scale transformation programs across several industries. Before that, he held various international management positions during his 8-year tenure at Bosch.
Sebastian studied at Darmstadt University of Technology, École Supérieure d`Électricité Paris, the Technical University of Munich, and the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Electrical Engineering.
He joined Cinven in 2022.
Ségolène Le Roy
Ségolène is a member of the regional team for France. She has been involved in a number of transactions, including Domia Group.
Prior to joining Cinven, Ségolène worked at Morgan Stanley in the French coverage investment banking team where she was involved in deals for strategics and PE clients.
Ségolène graduated from HEC Paris with a Master in Management.

Sherina Teckchand
Sherina is Legal Counsel and a member of the firm’s Legal and Compliance Department.
Prior to joining Cinven, Sherina trained and worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, in London and Dubai, with a focus on private equity and cross-border M&A transactions.
Sherina has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Warwick and was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice with distinction from BPP Law School.
She joined Cinven in 2022.
Shoko Sakamoto
Shoko is a member of the Industrials sector team. She has been involved in a number of transactions, including Envu and Master Builders Solutions.
Prior to joining Cinven, Shoko worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division and previously worked at Itochu Corporation.
Shoko has an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Biological Chemistry and Biotechnology from the University of Tokyo.

Simon Soerensen
Simon is a member of the TMT sector team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Simon was a Private Equity Analyst at Axcel in Copenhagen.

Skye Wood
Skye is Cinven’s Head of Events, with over 20 years of experience in the event industry, she is responsible for the concept, planning and delivery of Investor, Portfolio and Internal Events.
Prior to joining Cinven, Skye helped to organise The Royal Tournament followed by a stint at Apax Partners.
She joined Cinven in 2011.
Sofia Vaz de Moura
Sofia is a member of the Iberia regional team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Sofia worked at J.P. Morgan as an Analyst in the EMEA Consumer & Retail coverage team based in London, where she was involved in M&A and ECM transactions for strategics and PE clients. Previously, Sofia interned at several companies including Ardian in Madrid, J.P. Morgan in Dubai, and Crest Capital Partners and Kearney in Lisbon.
Sofia has a Double Master’s Degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

Sophia Isidor
Sophia is a Personal Assistant in the Portfolio and Industrial teams.
Prior to joining Cinven, she was an EA at HG Capital, focusing on the Portfolio team.
Sophia has an MA in International Relations from the Institut des Relations Internationales in Paris and an MA in Political Sciences from the University of Lyon.

Soren Christensen
Soren leads the Capital Markets team at Cinven. He has worked on a number of transactions, including Avolon, Barentz, Clario (formerly Bioclinica), Coor, Domia Group, Envirotainer, group.one, LGC, Netceed (formerly ETC Group), Master Builders Solutions, Numericable, One.com, Phadia, Spire Healthcare, Synlab and think-cell.
Prior to this, Soren worked at Citigroup within the Leveraged Acquisition Finance Group, where he was involved in the financial structuring and syndication of several major European leveraged buyout transactions.
Soren has a BSc in Economics & Mathematics and an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.

Soyoon Shin
Soyoon is a member of the Investment team.
Prior to joining Cinven, Soyoon was an Associate Consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where she focused on projects across consumer, TMT and industrials industries.
Soyoon has a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Financial Analysis from London Business School.

Steph Graham
Steph is a Personal Assistant in Cinven’s Consumer team.
She has previously worked with the Business Services, Healthcare, Industrials, and TMT sector teams.
Steph joined Cinven in 1989, prior to the buyout from British Coal, and has served as a Personal Assistant to several Founding Partners.
Stephen Davis
Stephen is an HR Assistant at Cinven.
Prior to joining Cinven, Stephen worked in a generalist HR role at Gallaghers Insurance.
He holds a degree in Business Management and a Level 5 Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the CIPD.

Stuart McAlpine
Stuart is Chairman of the firm and a member of the Investment Committee.
Stuart joined Cinven in 1996. He was Managing Partner of the firm between 2015 and 2024, having previously led the Healthcare Sector team and the UK and Ireland Regional team.
He has been involved in numerous transactions, including Amadeus, CPA Global, Fitness First, Foseco, Medpace, Phadia, Sebia and Synlab.
Stuart has a BAcc from the University of Glasgow.
Stuart Walker
Stuart is a member of the Portfolio team.
He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Compre, Envirotainer, HBX Group (previously Hotelbeds), LGC, OMNES Education (formerly INSEEC.U.), Planasa and TK Elevator.
Stuart was previously a Managing Director and Partner at The Boston Consulting Group, where he advised clients on operational performance improvement and digital strategy. He was part of the Private Equity, Corporate Development and Digital & Tech practices. Prior to that, he was a Director in the Investment Banking TMT team at Rothschild, worked at a Tech and Media strategy boutique in London and at Daimler AG in Germany.
Stuart studied at the University of Birmingham and the University of Regensburg.

Supraj Rajagopalan
Supraj leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the firm as CEO and chairs the Executive Committee.
Over the years he has worked on a number of transactions, including Ahlsell, Barentz, CeramTec, Clario (formerly Bioclinica), JLA, Medpace, National Seating & Mobility, Phadia, Sebia and STADA.
Previously, he was at The Boston Consulting Group, where he worked on projects in the healthcare and financial services sectors.
Supraj graduated from Cambridge University with undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Medical Sciences.
He joined Cinven in 2004.
Surya Callandreau
Surya is a receptionist and administrative assistant in the Cinven Paris office.
Prior to Cinven, Surya worked in the airline and hospitality industries.
Surya has a BA in English Literature and an MA in Strategic Marketing.

Tarek Bayazid
Tarek is a member of the Investor Relations and Fundraising team.
Previously Tarek worked as a Vice President in the Alternative Assets Group at Citigroup, advising private equity clients with a broad range of products, including M&A advisory, leveraged finance and private equity fundraising.
Tarek holds an MSc in Communications and a BA in History from Boston College.

Tayg Dagnall
Tayg is Cinven’s Internal Communications Executive, responsible for the development and execution of strategic internal communications to enhance global employee engagement.
Prior to joining Cinven, Tayg was an International PR and Communications Executive at Fanatics, where she managed media relations, and internal communication initiatives across the EMEA region. Before this, Tayg was a Graduate PR Executive at The Hut Group.
Tayg has a BA in Journalism with Public Relations from The University of Salford.

Thilo Sautter
Thilo leads the Portfolio team, based in the London office.
He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Clario (formerly Bioclinica), Host Europe Group (‘HEG’), Planasa, SLV and Tinsa.
Previously, Thilo was Managing Director at Investcorp in London, where he was responsible for private equity investment in German-speaking markets. He was also a member of the Investment Committee and Head of the Business Services sector team.
Thilo studied at the Koblenz School of Corporate Management (WHU), graduating with an MSc in Business Administration and Economics.

Thisal Mudalige
Thisal is a member of the North America regional team. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Nitel.
Prior to joining Cinven, Thisal worked at Boston Consulting Group where he worked with clients in Healthcare, Technology, Industrials, and Private Equity.
Thisal has a BBA in Strategy and Finance from the University of Michigan.

Thomas leads the TMT Sector team.
He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Allegro, group.one, Host Europe Group (‘HEG’), MasOrange (formerly MasMovil), Netceed (formerly ETC Group), Nitel, Numericable, One.com, RTB House, True Potential, Ufinet, Ufinet International I and Ufinet International II.
Prior to joining Cinven, Thomas worked in the private equity division of Goldman Sachs (Goldman Sachs Principal Investment Area (‘PIA’)) in London.
Thomas has an MSc in Engineering from the École Centrale Paris.

Tim Baltin
Tim is a member of the Healthcare team and the regional team for DACH. He has been involved in a number of transactions, including Arxada (formerly LSI), Barentz, Envu (previously Bayer Environmental Science Professional) and STADA.
Prior to joining Cinven, Tim worked at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division, where he was involved in various M&A and equity/debt capital market transactions.
Tim has an MSc in Business Administration from LMU Munich and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen.

Tracey Perkins
Tracey is a member of the Legal and Compliance department.
Prior to joining Cinven, Tracey was Deputy to Assistant Company Secretary of Laird Group PLC. Other previous roles include Assistant Company Secretary of Carlton Communications PLC and Assistant Company Secretary at Cazenove Group PLC.
Tracey is an Associate member of the ICSA and has a BA in Business Communication.

Valentine Chevreux
Valentine is a member of the regional team for France.
Prior to joining Cinven, Valentine worked at Lazard as an Analyst in the M&A generalist large cap team in Paris, where she was involved in a number of buy-side and sell-side transactions for large French accounts. Previously she interned at several companies including PAI Partners, Eight Advisory, Rothschild & Co and OFI Asset Management.
Valentine has a MSc in Management from ESCP Business School in Paris, and a Master in Finance from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Vittoria Ciferri
Vittoria is a member of the Business Services sector team.

Zen Goncalves
Zen is Cinven’s Guest Experience Manager and is responsible for overseeing all elements of the hospitality service offered to Cinven visitors and staff within the London office.
Zen started working with Cinven in March 2002, initially via Restaurant Associates as the General Manager for Reception, Catering & Hospitality facilities, before becoming a member of the Cinven Corporate team, overseeing these services.
